When planning our travels regardless of it being for a night or a few weeks away, one of the main things we always check, like many of you, does the hotel have Wi-Fi and what are our mobile data roaming charges.
If you’re travelling from the UK to other countries within the EU you’re usually fine with data charges, but what if you’re not covered or going further afield than Europe. You can of course get hotel Wi-Fi but for sure guarantee your mobile data charges will be extortionate – I know too well after being hit with a £389 phone bill just on roaming charges!
Now on my travels outside of the EU I use FLINK. This is a portable hotspot you can take out and about with you. It doesn’t matter how many times you log into the internet, scroll through Instagram or watch YouTube videos, you only pay one day rate, when you need it. Even better you can connect more than one device to it! With this handy hotspot you can say goodbye to unexpected mobile data roaming charges and dial up speed wifi and hello to reliable and unlimited data in more than 100 countries.
It’s always key to do your research as this sometimes isn’t a cost we factor in to travelling. Say you’re travelling from Europe to Australia or from the USA to Paris, France; this isn’t covered on most data networks, and when it is the daily charge is quite ridiculous. We live in a world where we’re always connected and somewhat feel uneasy when we’re not. So having something with you whether you’re at the hotel, on the beach or out exploring, is now an essential. Your internet connection becomes even more important when you need to touch base with friends and family when you’re thousands of miles away from home.
